What's your story?
With nearly 15 years experience providing therapy for gay men, I am well prepared to help clients examine, challenge, and edit the stories we all carry around in our heads. The work is thorough and professional, with a little humor thrown in as well. If you are ready to work on the litany of challenges we face - relationships, family, work, sex, physical and mental health, aging - please reach out. Let's partner on writing the story of growth, peace, and contentment that you deserve!

About Me

Thanks so much for visiting my site and for diving in a little more deeply. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I also hold a license in Georgia as well. I have been in private practice since 2012, working with gay men on a wide range of life and mental health challenges: depression, anxiety, substance and behavior issues, relationship and sexual challenges, career bumps - the stuff of life.
One specialty area in my practice is working with men who come out later in life, often after being in straight marriages with children. This is my story as well, so I bring personal and professional experience to this work. I have been honored and humbled to help so many men, and their families, charter these waters that can seem pretty frightening at first.
My education includes a Bachelor in Speech from Northwestern University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. My work life began in professional theater before transitioning to counseling in my early 40's. I was fortunate to be a stay at home dad for two great kids, and I am now happily partnered. A lifetime of varied experiences and roles fuels my passion in working with others in their own times of transition. I look forward to talking with you soon to see how I may be of service.
